Use
the Seller's Manager to create auction listings quickly and easily,
from your desktop.
Create an Auction To create an auction, simply fill out
the "New Auction" dialog box and hit "Submit." You'll find all the
same fields here as you would find on the Yahoo! Auctions Submit
form on the Web, but they are displayed a bit differently. You
need to press a button to access additional fields, such as sales
policies, reserve or buy price, closing time, etc.
Submit Many Items at Once You can create as many
auctions as you like with the Yahoo! Seller's Manager, and submit
them all at once at a later time, or the next time you go online.
Simply create your auctions, and each time you complete a listing,
save the auction instead of submitting it immediately. Your auctions
are stored in the Seller's Manager until you are ready to submit, at
which point you can upload them all at once.
Use Templates If you run many auctions, templates can
save you a lot of time. Use a template to format and save
information that's the same for all your auctions, such as length of
auction, shipping and payment policies, and item descriptions.
You can also create templates for different types of auction
items and options. Then, when you create a new auction, simply
select the appropriate template for that auction and make specific
changes as needed.
For example: You are an amateur silversmith, and you use
Yahoo! Auctions to sell your handmade silver earrings, bracelets,
necklaces, and other items. To list your auctions quickly and
easily, create templates for each type of item: a bracelet template,
an earrings template, etc. Then, when you create a new auction,
simply select the appropriate template and change the item
description, photo, and price.
