 Before
you begin using the Seller's Manager, you'll need to follow a few
simple steps:
Register as a Seller
You must be registered as a Yahoo!
Auctions seller before you can use Yahoo! Seller's Manager. This
means you must also have a Yahoo! Wallet account. To register as a seller with Yahoo! Auctions, click the
"Sign up now!" link in the top right corner of the Yahoo! Auctions
home page. Follow the steps on the registration pages. On the
"Verify your Credit Card" page choose the "Yahoo! Wallet" option. Sellers may not use the "Simple
Verification" option. When you complete the registration, you're
ready to start using the Seller's Manager.
Download and Install Yahoo! Seller's Manager
The download
page gives a brief overview of the benefits of using the
Seller's Manager to upload and track your auctions, and provides the
system requirements for installing and running the software. Make
sure your computer system meets all the compatibility requirements,
then click on "Get It Now!" to begin downloading the application to
your computer.
 Verify Your ID
When you've downloaded and installed the
application, you'll be prompted to enter your Yahoo! Auctions ID and
password the first time you launch the software. The Seller's
Manager needs to connect to the Internet to verify your information,
access auction data from your "My Auctions" page, and download it to
your desktop. If you are a new user, you have no auctions history to
download, but your Seller's Manager will now be able to submit new
auctions. If you have not yet completed the registration process,
the software will prompt you to finish your Yahoo! Auctions
registration.
